CALLING FOR COMMUNITY INPUT ON THE FORMAT OF OPENED23!

The Open Education Conference Board of Directors is seeking input regarding whether to organize OpenEd23 as an in-person/virtual hybrid event. After three years in a fully virtual format, we have seen the benefits of expanded participation and more equitable avenues for engagement. We also recognize that many of this year’s attendees expressed interest in the option to attend in person next year. We want to know more about what you think!

Please take a few minutes to complete our OpenEd23 Questionnaire to share your input on the future format of the Open Education Conference.

The decision to shift from fully virtual to an in-person/virtual hybrid format will depend on many factors, including the level of interest, cost, and organizing capacity. Consistent with the conference’s Strategic Vision, the Board is seeking your input in order to make this decision with transparency and accountability to the community in mind.

In addition to completing the questionnaire, consider attending the next community meeting on Friday November 18th at 1pm Eastern to provide additional input.
