The Open Education Conference Board of Directors is excited to announce that #OpenEd23 will be held as a virtual event on Nov 7-9, 2023. Organized through a community-led process for the fourth year in a row, the 2023 Open Education Conference seeks to engage advocates and practitioners who strive to make education more accessible, affordable, and equitable to everyone.
#OpenEd23 will mark the twentieth annual gathering of the Open Education Conference community. Last year’s event drew over 1,600 participants spanning 50 countries and all 50 U.S. states. The audience included a wide range of open education enthusiasts, including educators, librarians, students, and many more. While the conference has historically focused on North American higher education, the Board is committed to broadening participation and programming from all education levels and countries across the globe.
