Save the Date: #OpenEd22 is October 17-20
The Open Education Conference is excited to announce that #OpenEd22 will be held as a virtual event on October 17 - 20, 2022. Organized through a community-driven process for the third year in a row, the 2022 Open Education Conference seeks to engage advocates and practitioners who strive to make education more accessible, affordable, and equitable to everyone.
#OpenEd22 will mark the nineteenth annual gathering of the Open Education Conference community. Last year’s event drew a record 1,800 participants spanning 60 countries and all 50 U.S. states. The audience includes a wide range of open education advocates and practitioners, including educators, librarians, students, and many more. While historically focused on North American higher education, the conference welcomes participation and programming from all education levels and countries across the globe.
The 2022 Open Education Conference will be the third year to be held virtually and organized through a community-driven process. This year’s conference will be led by the newly-established Board of Directors, guided by a collaboratively developed Strategic Vision.
