The 2020 Open Education Conference generated more than 100 hours of programming that participants are still able to explore. To support ongoing conversations, we are starting a new series called “OpenEd Conversations” led by community members, where participants will view and discuss some of this content together.
Are you an educational leader of a statewide OER effort? Or, do you wish to get your state, province, or region to take more leadership in the OER space? Or, are you a student leader who wishes to encourage your state higher education office to get more involved with OER? This session is the one for you to see! You will watch an #OpenEd20 lightening video of the U.S. state of Colorado’s progress with its successful OER initiative made visible and amplified through working groups that extend across institution types, demographics, and geographic locations statewide. This video will be followed by a 45-minute facilitated discussion that invites others who have created similar OER initiatives and those that wish to create one to generate a constructive dialogue.
